Next activity in line….Turtle Walk

Have you ever seen a turtle hatch? Well if back in Malaysia you haven’t seen one, you still have a chance to see one here. (Chennai have turtle meh????). Yeeppp turtles do land on Chennai beaches.

Okay friends, in brief, PERWAKILAN will be organising a trip to watch the turtles hatch. These turtles are under the care of a charitable Trust name TREE Foundation. You can read more info of the trust from this link: http://treefoundationindia.org/ .The details of the trip are as follows:

Date : Saturday, 19 March 2011.

Venue: TREE Foundation- 5/25 Blue Beach Road, Neelangarai (The road leading to Periya Neelangarai Village ) From Niligirs and Raymond shop on the ECR take the – 2nd left (when coming from Tiruvanmaiyur).

Time: 8.30 pm (please be on time)

Transportation: On your own.

Attire: Warm clothing, comfortable walking shoes, flash light and bottle of water.

Fees: Rs100/- per person as donation towards the community based turtle conservation program.
